SHAZIA KHAN

Shazia Khan is the Head of the Family Department at Alexander Rose Solicitors.

Shazia was admitted as a Solicitor in 2003. She has considerable experience in dealing with cases concerning Divorce, Financial Relief, Children (both Private and Public proceedings), Injunctions and the Unmarried Family. Shazia has built a wealth of experience in complex financial matters concerning Intervenors and complex Care Proceedings.

Shazia is a skilled lawyer and aims to achieve the best outcome for clients in a cost-effective manner. Her clients value her sympathetic yet robust approach in difficult situations and describe her as professional, empathetic, and practical in her advice.

Shazia is a Member of Resolution and the Law Society’s Family Law Advanced Accreditation Scheme.

Shazia has also undertaken training on Islamic Divorce Law and can conduct Islamic Divorce Law proceedings in conjunction with the Muslim Arbitration Tribunal.

Shazia speaks Urdu and Punjabi.

Shazia in her spare time likes to read and is an avid runner and swimmer. She generally likes to keep fit and travels when given the opportunity.
